Welcome to the Hucknall Titchfield Park Bowls Club Website

Hucknall’s Titchfield Park is justly proud of its green flag status and our club members are fortunate to enjoy playing lawn bowls within a lovely park setting.

HTPBC is a very busy club. Our members enjoy a full schedule of competitive and social bowling from mid-April to mid-September.

Being a member of 3 local bowls associations, we compete in 8 league divisions every week. In addition, we have club competitions and hold roll-ups every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday afternoons.

HTPBC prides itself on being an open and inclusive club and we warmly invite you to come along to the park and try your hand at the sport.

Why should you play lawn bowls?

The sport of lawn bowls is truly a sport for all ages. Most of the current top national and international players started as youngsters, often playing with their parents or grandparents.

The vital benefits to physical wellbeing and mental health derived from playing lawn bowls are now well known. Two hours of easy walking in the fresh air with frequent bending and stretching is great for muscles and joints. Focussing on the tactics and progress of the game helps with concentration and everyone benefits socially from regularly getting together with a community of like-minded people.

Every year HTPBC holds free open days in April and May with additional taster sessions throughout the season. The club has the benefit of a qualified coach and provides everything needed to get started. We only ask for flat soled shoes, most trainers are ok.

The members of Hucknall Titchfield Park Bowls Club make the most of the summer months. Come and have a go at lawn bowls with us and discover why most who do are hooked for life.
